The Rugby Business Network is a free networking community, where people who like rugby can help each other in business, and also in life, both online and face to face.

Meetings are usually scheduled monthly on the second Monday of the month but are subject to change from time to time. Attendance is free however places are limited. Please visit this page regularly for details of the next event, and how to register.

Next Event – Monday 3rd June* with Waratah and Wallaby legend Phil Waugh

Our thanks to Jeremy Paul for joining us at our May event. It was a great evening and we hope everyone had an enjoyable time.

For June we are pleased to announce we have secured former Waratah & Wallaby Phil Waugh as our speaker. The event will be held on Monday 3rd June.

*Please note that this is a week earlier than normal owing to the June Long weekend.

During his Rugby career Phil earned 79 Australian caps (3 as captain) with the Wallabies and 136 caps (58 as captain) with the New South Wales Waratahs.

He has completed two Masters Degrees (Masters of Commerce and Masters of International Business, focusing on Strategic Management) at The University of Sydney whilst a player – an impressive feat.

Phil works as an Executive Manager at CBA within the Business and Private Bank Business Unit. He is also a Non-Executive Director of  the Pacific Restaurant Group. With interests including the Australian Stock Market and the Sydney property market, Phil has a diverse career which when combined with his rugby background will make for a most enjoyable evening of Rugby Business Networking!
