The Wallabies and Wallaroos will feature in this doubleheader, and it will be the only time the Wallabies and All Blacks play on Australian soil in the lead up to the Rugby World Cup.

Members can purchase up to 10 tickets until allocation exhausted.

Join in this celebration of the partnership between The Rugby Club Foundation, the Classic Wallabies and Central West Rugby which supports, nurtures and grows the game of rugby in country NSW from the grassroots, gates open at 11:30am.

Not only is this a fantastic opportunity to see some former Wallabies in action, including captain Stephen Moore, but a chance to see the next generation as the day is packed with a free kids skills clinic as well as a host of curtain raiser matches and events featuring local clubs and players of all ages ahead of the main game.

North Sydney Oval will be a hive of activity on Saturday, and members of The Rugby Club Foundation can access the best view in the house.

We have secured for members:

  • Complimentary ground entry for Rugby Club Foundation Members only. Just show your current membership card at the gate

  • Exclusive access for Rugby Club Foundation members and their guests (up to three guests - additional guests accommodated where possible) to The Foundation's VIP room in the Mollie Dive Stand (RSVP essential) from 1:00pm

  • Exclusive cash bar within the VIP room and limited complimentary light refreshments. Avoid the queues!

Last year the ground was a sell out, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. Members cannot be admitted if the ground is full.

annual CLASSIC WALLABIES GOLF DAY

The Classic Wallabies invite Rugby Club Members and their friends to the Annual Classic Wallabies Golf Day.  The day is part of the 2018 Bledisloe Cup Festival and is sure to be a fantastic event. A large number of Classic Wallabies from various eras are already confirmed as playing, including Glen Ella, Russell Fairfax, Andrew Slack, Michael Hawker, Rod Kafer, Drew Mitchell, Benn Robinson and Stephen Hoiles to name a few.

The day will conclude with an amazing dinner hosted by MC Sean Maloney from Fox Sports, with presentations and loads of prizes on offer.

The Sydney Rugby Referees Association would like to invite Rugby Club Foundation Members to hear from the Referees of this year's Australia v New Zealand fixtures being played in Sydney.

The panel will include the five visiting on-field Match Officials for the men's and women's fixtures, which are Jaco Peyper from South Africa, Wayne Barnes, Luke Pearce and Ian Tempest from England, as well as Tim Baker from Hong Kong.

Australia v Ireland Speakers Night

To celebrate the Irish Rugby Tour of Australia in June our Club, in conjunction with local grassroots club Sydney Irish, invite members and guests to enjoy banter, drinks and canapés. The event will also support Hearts in Union.

The evening will feature former Irish International Alan Quinlan, former Wallabies Justin Harrison and Adam Freier. As well as special guests former International Referee Stuart Dickinson and John Langford, who in addition to a notable representative career has played for some of the best Clubs in the world, including Sydney Irish.

Honouring Catchpole AND Shehadie

At Coogee Oval this Saturday, late Rugby Life Members Ken Catchpole OAM and Sir Nicholas Shehadie AC OBE will be honoured prior to 1st Grade kick-off (3pm). In recognition of their special relationship with The Rugby Club, members will be granted discounted entry when their Rugby Club Foundation Membership Card is shown (gates open 10:30am).

After the game all are welcome to head over and join the Galloping Greens at the Coogee Beach Club for after game speeches.

The Rugby Club Foundation will host an information evening and Sake tasting for those interested in touring with the Club.
 
These tours are being meticulously planned with Gullivers the only company to have been the Official Travel Agent for all nine Rugby World Cups and Peter Gibson who brings 32 years of Japanese sport and cultural expertise.
