The Rugby Club Foundation's purpose is to support the game of rugby though our strategic vision "sharing the spirit of the game". This can only be achieved with the support of our members. To enable identification of a provision of services to members we need to collect and store information about you.

The Federal Government Privacy Act provides the minimum standards for the handling of your personal information.  The Rugby Club Foundation is committed to complying with these standards.

Collection of Information

The information we collect and store about you generally includes your name, address, date of birth and other contact details.  This information allows us to contact you, as necessary, on issues relating to your membership.

We may also collect information that will allow us to better meet your needs.  Generally, this information includes your preferences for types of dining, sport, entertainment and other interests.  Any information of this type will be collected from you by requests forwarded in person, by mail, email, telephone or the internet.

Receiving Material from The Rugby Club Foundation

Our aim is to provide you with opportunities, offers, products or services that will give your membership the highest possible value.  These opportunities may be provided by The Rugby Club Foundation  or they may come from another organisation if we believe it is appropriate.

If we do send you information about another organisation, we will not provide them with your personal details.  We may disclose some of your details to external contractors to perform tasks on our behalf.  A mailing house is an example.  Whenever we do this we impose restrictions on how they use your information.  These restrictions secure the confidentiality of your data.

Access to Information

You have the right to access the information we hold about you.  To do so you will need to write to us outlining the details of your request.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the way your personal information is used please contact us in writing and your complaint will be investigated.

Your choice

Receiving marketing information from The Rugby Club Foundation is completely your choice.  You may request not to receive marketing information, if so please advise us of your decision in writing.

E Commerce

The Rugby Club Foundation considers it complies with all Australian privacy laws. Information you provide (address, email, telephone number) will be used for billing, delivery and to inform you of future offers from The Rugby Club Foundation.

We will not share your information with third parties. Your records held by us are available for your personal inspection by contacting us on 02 8014 5831 and verifying your identity.  An administration fee may be charged for material sent to you.

Refund policy

Should The Rugby Club Foundation Limited be unable to provide any quoted service due to any unforeseen circumstances, a full refund for that service only will be given and The Rugby Club Foundation Limited will not be under any further liability to you or anyone else. Our functions terms and conditions are provided to our functions clients with payment and refund policies included.

The Rugby Club Foundation uses Stripe, a leading ecommerce payment gateway, to ensure a reliable, fast and secure experience for all your online transactions.

To accomplish this, Stripe make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security.
