Sydney Women's Rugby Union Grand Final

Congratulations to minor premiers Sydney University who defeated reigning premiers Warringah 38 – 17 to claim the Jack Scott Cup for 2018. It was a wonderful festival of Rugby at Woollahra on Saturday, with the grand final, combined with a Women’s Sevens exhibition match between Randwick and Southern Districts, Pacifika Cup matches and the National Rugby Championship match between Sydney and Brisbane City, showcasing and celebrating the diversity within the game.

With financial support from The Rugby Club Foundation in 2018 Sydney Women’s Rugby has been able to offer more women and girls the opportunity to play both 7s and 15s and assist with educating women’s coaches, thus enhancing both the skills and enjoyment of all participants.

The Rugby Club Foundation is both honoured and delighted to assist with nurturing Sydney Women’s Rugby Union as we work together in supporting the game of Rugby generally.
