2022 Annual Lunch

The Foundation’s Annual Lunch provided a wonderful forum within which to again gather Members and guests together in celebration of the game which we all love and respect. It also provided the opportunity to celebrate the launch of “The Official History of the Wallabies Jersey”. Members and their guests were privileged to hear from Michael Fahey, the book’s author and Member of the Foundation, with many learning that the Wallabies played in green before gold. The sold-out room was then treated to anecdotes from former Wallabies including The Honourable Michael Cleary AO, Owen Finegan, Al Baxter, Andrew Blades and Richard Harry, while enjoying the excellent hospitality provided by Tattersalls Club.

The Foundation is grateful to all those who contributed to ensuring that the Annual Lunch remains one of the most enjoyable functions on the Rugby calendar and now looks forward to again “Sharing the Spirit of the Game” with all Members and the Rugby community in 2023.
